MANILA, Philippines — Filipino pool maestro Anton Raga put on a masterclass performance on the international stage, claiming the 2026 Japan Men’s Open title with an emphatic 8–3 triumph over compatriot Antonio Lining in a thriller of a championship match. Setting up a high-stakes, all-Filipino final, both cueists showcased the world-class caliber of Philippine billiards.  However, it was Raga who dictated the tempo from the opening rack, exhibiting ice-cold composure and relentless shotmaking to pull away from Lining and secure the decisive victory.
