Filipino skateboarder Mazel Paris Alegado placed fifth overall in the women’s skateboarding park events at the 20th Asian Games in Nagoya, Japan on Friday. The 12-year-old posted her best mark of 80.65 in her fourth and final run. She earlier showed scores of 70.81 and 80.19 in her first two runs, followed by a small slip in the third run. Japan’s Mizuho Hasegawa won the gold medal with a top score of 94.03 in her second run, while her teammate Misugu Okamoto finished with the bronze medal. Taiwan’s Lin Yi-fan bagged the silver medal with a score of 85.15 on her first attempt.
